Twenty One Months Old

Today (the 7th) marks our 9th month of Myah officially being our daughter. Every day she is learning something new, whether it be a new word or action, she is really blossoming. This month we kept her busy with alot of family activities. First we had to say bon voyage to our very good friends, the Smiths as Jeff took a new job as a pilot in Oshkosh that relocated their family to Wisconsin. We will miss them terribly! We hope to visit them soon in their new home! We also watched Dayton play his last few games in basketball, his team did really well and only lost 2 games! Have I told you how much we love that kid! He is such a great big brother, son, student, team mate, grandson.... I could go on and on. We then went up to Great Wolf Lodge in Traverse City over Dayton's mid winter break. We had a blast, what a great place to go with young and older children. Myah actually still gets a little freaky when she sees water at first, she sat on my lap on the lazy river tubes and we just floated around for about an hour. I have to say I loved it because it was the longest amount of time that I have been able to hold her since we got her. It was a great bonding time for us! We even ran into another family who adopted a little girl from Hunan. As spring is closely approaching, we can hardly wait to get back outside with Myah. We are very excited to be going to Florida at the end of the month! This will be our first long trip since China so wish us luck that she will travel well! We love Florida and can't wait to introduce her to our special friends and family while we are there. We are going to end our trip by going to Disneyworld, this is our most favorite place as a family and we are counting the days until we leave. This will be our first official family vacation with Myah!!
