Our Adoption Buddies

We been blessed to meet some of the wonderful families that we are adopting with. Last May Leslie met with two of the mommies that are in our group, Laura and Sheri. Since that day we have emailed each other and have met on several occasions for dinner or lunch. I get to see Laura quite often because she doesn't live very far from us. Her and her husband Jay actually went to Ferris with Mark and lived in the same dorm, what a small world! Our mommy lunch group grew last week with the introduction of Robyn, she fits in with us so well and she is just one more reason why the trip to China will be so enjoyable. What a wonderful bond we will have with them and our daughters. We also just met a great couple in Pinckney who live 2 miles from us. They just got back from China on New Years Day. They are going to be a great resource for us! Myah will definately have many little playmates once she arrives! It is wonderful to share this journey with these great families and we look forward to raising our little China girls together! The song playing is called "You and I " by Celine Dion. It is a special song to Mark and I and ironically, when we got together for the first time with our travel buddies for dinner this song was playing over the radio in the restaurant, it was quite the red thread moment!
